George E. Willock CLU®, LUTCF®, CAP®, AEP®
Friends of UFM
George has been in the charitable planning field for twenty-five years. The consulting firm he founded worked with the Mises Institute to secure planned gifts. He later worked with Auburn University as director of planned giving, where he and his team raised over $650 million in planned gifts, of which $98 million came from charitable life insurance. In 2014, George left Auburn to create Willock Coaching and Consulting which serves as a resource and consultancy to charitable organizations and teaches individuals how to identify and build on their strengths and improve their relationships with others. Prior to his work in charitable planning, George worked in estate and financial planning in the areas of sales, agent training, and management.
George has earned the following designations: Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF), Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP), and Accredited Estate Planner (AEP). He is a graduate of the National Planned Giving Institute (NPGI) and a TRACOM Certified SOCIAL STYLE Model® & Versatility Instructor. His articles have appeared in several publications and he has authored coursework for the American College of Financial Services in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
George has been a regional and national speaker on philanthropic planning, charitable life insurance, interpersonal relationship building with SOCIAL STYLES®, and identifying and building one’s talents and strengths.
